On or Not?

Astronomical observations are subject to weather. If it is cloudy there is usually no point in trying to see anything in the sky. On days when an observation session is scheduled at the observatory, this page will contain information on weather (sic) or not we are going. The final call will usually be made sometime in the afternoon of the observation session’s day, so check back here then.

Weather forecasts can be obtained, for example, from the National Weather Service.

Open House scheduled for Friday, November 20, 2009 . Looks like the weather is smiling on our last Open House for 2009. Skies are forecast clear, and we will meet at the observatory at 6:30pm.

This will be the last Open House for 2009, I will try to post a schedule for the spring of 2010 soon.
