On or Not?

Astronomical observations are subject to weather. If it is cloudy there is usually no point in trying to see anything in the sky. On days when an observation session is scheduled at the observatory, this page will contain information on weather (sic) or not we are going. The final call will usually be made sometime in the afternoon of the observation session’s day, so check back here then.

Weather forecasts can be obtained, for example, from the National Weather Service.

Open House scheduled for Friday, May 17, 2013 at 9:00pm. Sadly, forecast models have converged on cloudy skies tonight. Our last Open House for fall is cancelled.
